Enamored by these gorgeous trees, the Once-ler chops one down and uses its foliage to knit a “Thneed”, an odd-looking but versatile garment that he insists “everyone needs.” A strange creature called the Lorax suddenly emerges from the stump and protests, saying that he “speaks for the trees, as the trees have no tongues,” but the Once-ler ignores him and,Click Here To Watch “Full Movie” spurred by greed and the success of his first sale, begins a huge Thneed-making business that brings in his whole family, much to the Lorax’s distress.

As the Once-ler’s small shop grows into a factory and new equipment is being made to keep up with the demand for more Thneeds, signs of damage to the Truffula Forest become evident to the Lorax. The Lorax first complains to the Once-ler that the Truffula trees, being chopped down, were also the food source of the Bar-ba-Loots, who are now facing a terrible food shortage and a disease called “the Crummies because of gas and no food in their tummies.” To save them, the Lorax sends them off to find another food source. At first, the Once-ler only shows a little remorse, but still focuses on expanding his business.

The Once-ler alone remains, gazing upon the disintegrating ruins of his factories over the years and contemplating the meaning of this last message, perhaps with a sense of remorse. In the end, the Once-ler gives the boy the very last Truffula seed for him to plant and take care of, potentially regrowing the forest and resulting in the Lorax’s return.

As the Once-ler arrives in the area with his mule and cart, he takes in the sights; There are Bar-ba-Loots (resembling bears) that frolic about and eat fruit from the trees, Swomee Swans that fly through the air and sing as they go, and Humming Fish that go swimming about in the ponds and humming as they swim. But the Once-ler is only interested in the beauty of the Truffula Trees. Taking a few samples of the Truffula tree, he decides to set up shop on the spot.

Soon, the Once-ler’s Thneed-making business has expanded tenfold and now uses delivery trucks to take out the shipments. The Lorax eventually comes back complaining to the Once-ler that the factories are belching out so much “smogulous smoke” that it is giving the Swomee Swans sore throats, leaving them unable to sing. After the Lorax sends them off, he also complains to the Once-ler about his machinery making a goo by-product called “Gluppity Glup” and “Shloppity Shlop,” and how it’s being dumped into the ponds where the Humming Fish live, leaving them unable to hum and forcing the Lorax to send them away too.

The Once-ler, however, still dismisses the Lorax’s pleadings and goes so far as to berate the Lorax for chastising his business practices. The Lorax’s complaints, however, unhappily prove to be true just as the last Truffula Tree gets chopped down. With all the trees gone, no more Thneeds can be made, so the Thneed factories close down and the Once-ler’s family departs, leaving the Once-ler alone with the Lorax, who, looking back at the Once-ler sadly, picks himself up by the “seat of his pants” and floats away through a hole in the smog, leaving behind only a small pile of rocks with the word “UNLESS” inscribed into them. The Lorax is a children’s book written by Dr. Seuss and first published in 1971. It chronicles the plight of the environment and the Lorax, who speaks for the trees against the greedy Once-ler. As in most Dr. Seuss works, most of the creatures mentioned are original to the book.

The book is commonly recognized as a fable concerning industrialized society and the danger it poses to nature, using the literary element of personification to give life to industry as the Once-ler (whose face is never shown in any of the story’s illustrations or in the television special) and to the environment as the Lorax.

The animated adventure follows the journey of a 12-year-old as he searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world.

The first set photos for the film turned up online on November 17, 2010 showing Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Emma Thompson, and Nicole Scherzinger on set. Shooting was scheduled to resume from March through June 2011. Filming was done in April 2011 in the Morris Park section of The Bronx. Parts of Coney Island, in Brooklyn, had parking and filming permits posted for April 24 and May 2-4, 2011, production dates of what the permits titled MIB

Although the press release mentions that Brolin will play a “young Agent Kay,” we’re going off of Deadline’s plot possibility, which says MiB3 will use the aforementioned time travel storyline where Agent J (Smith) travels back to the year 1969 to meet a younger version of Tommy Lee Jones’ Agent K (or Kay, however you want to spell it). However, there’s no word on exactly what needs to be done in 1969, but I’m willing to bet that it will have something to do with the historical moon landing in that same year. I’m still hoping the casting rumor about Jemaine Clement and Sacha Baron Cohen joining this in some capacity is true, too!

Director Barry Sonnenfeld in May 2010 confirmed the return of the protagonists played by Tommy Lee Jones and Smith. Both had expressed interest in 2008 in reprising their roles. Other staff includes Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald as producers, with Steven Spielberg as executive producer; all were producers of the two previous films.

Meanwhile, Ian Hawke lives in the basement of JETT Records. Three singing female chipmunks, Brittany, Jeanette, and Eleanor, also known as the Chipettes, emerge and Ian hires them as plot to get back at the Chipmunks and revive his career.

While at school, the Chipmunks are bullied by jocks and visit the principal’s office. They discover that the principal is a huge fan and wants them to help raise money for the music program by participating in a contest. Meanwhile, when Ian is shocked to find the Chipmunks on the front page of his newspaper. After he reads a story about him, he quickly sends the Chipettes to school.

When the Chipmunks meet the Chipettes, they fall for their counterparts, but are soon forced to have a rivalry after discovering that they are with Ian. Meanwhile Dave finds out Toby is watching the boys, and he quickly leaves the hospital. At the concert, the Chipettes sing and Alvin fails to show for the Chipmunks – who then forfeit. When Alvin finally shows, he finds the auditorium empty and is ignored by his brothers at home.

Soon, the Chipettes are hired. The concert is on the same night as the school contest, so Ian decides to blow off the battle and make the Chipettes perform at the new concert, opening for Britney Spears.

Alvin finds out that Ian has locked the Chipettes in a cage, so Alvin races off to rescue them while Simon tells Jeanette how to open the cage on the phone. The Chipettes manage to escape with Alvin, and they arrive just in time to perform at the contest. The Chipmunks and the Chipettes perform together and they win. Dave returns during the contest. Meanwhile, Ian gets into more trouble at the concert he set up for the girls when he attempts to imitate them. After the contest, Dave allows the Chipettes to stay with them. In a post-credits scene, the principal is making the jocks scrape gum off from under the bleachers in the gyAlvin and the Chipmunks Chipwreckedasium, and Ian ends up in a dumpster.

The vacationing Chipmunks and Chipettes are turning a luxury cruise liner into their personal playground, until they become ‘chipwrecked’ on a remote island. As the ‘Munks and Chipettes try various schemes to find their way home, they accidentally discover their new turf is not as deserted as it seems.

Brian returns to kill Zizi, while Reyes is badly injured by Dom’s assault. Hobbs arrives on the scene and kills Reyes. Hobbs and his team eventually find and arrest Dom, Mia, Brian and Vince. While transporting them to the airport for extradition to the United States, the convoy is attacked by Reyes’ men, who kill Hobbs’ team. Hobbs and Elena are saved by Dom, Brian, Mia and Vince as they fight back against Reyes’ men and escape, but Vince is shot in the process and dies.

She travels to the Centrino Hospital for the Criminally Insane in Italy where her mother has been locked away to determine if her mother is mentally ill or demonically possessed. In Italy, a woman becomes involved in a series of unauthorized exorcisms during her mission to discover what happened to her mother, who allegedly murdered three people during her own exorcism. He orders a restrained glass of sparkling mineral water, an act entirely at odds with the most vivid memories of him in the film: raping a bride on her wedding night, abducting a schoolgirl virgin and commanding the clientele of a Baghdad nightclub to strip naked. Although as roles go, it’s the plummiest of plum parts, the kind of thing that young and upcoming actors lie awake at night fantasising about: in it, he plays not just Uday Hussein, the son of Saddam, but Latif Yahia, an Iraqi army officer who is blackmailed into being his body double.

He’s in almost every frame of every scene, much of the time twice, acting against himself, in a bloody tale involving torture and repression. It’s based on the true story of Latif Yahia, though it’s been glamourised in the telling, the House of Hussein recast as The Godfather.

And yet, bizarrely, what bothers him most is the idea that he might come across as boring. Really? At the end of the interview, I’m just about to turn off the tape recorder, on the point of pressing the stop button, and he issues a panicked last minute plea: “Please make it interesting! Because I can’t bear to read another piece about an actor where you just want to cry because you just think, ‘They’re just so dull!’”

“No! I don’t know. Just make it sound more interesting. Just not that stuff… ‘Oh! I knew when I was a kid I’d be star!”

We’ve talked about this. Because although he went straight from drama school to the National Theatre and has had the kind of career that appears to have in some ways to have been celestially preordained, he’s acutely aware of both the cliches and delusions that success brings.

He had a multi-award winning run in The History Boys, the Alan Bennett play that enjoyed a two-year triumphal world tour before being made into a film; character roles in almost all recent British hit movies: An Education, Tamara Drewe, Starter for Ten, The Duchess.

He’s been the himbo in Mamma Mia! and is currently making a splash in the blockbuster Captain America. He’s reportedly had talks about taking over from Matt Damon as Jason Bourne. And now he’s got the two roles in The Devil’s Double.

But he’s resisting the I-always-knew-it-would-happen-to-me explanation. “I don’t think that,” he says. “And I’m repulsed when I hear that. I had a really creative teacher at primary school. He used to get us doing things such as singing Spandau Ballet in drag in the choir and I remember loving it. But, basically, all kids love showing off.

“And yet you hear people saying, ‘No! But I just loved it! And I felt so alive! And that’s the same for pretty much all kids. It’s just utter rubbish. Look it’s really good fun. And if you can bear to pursue it, you should follow your heart, but I think it’s very difficult at that age to know anything.”

So he’s aware of this cliche. Just as he’s aware of the actor-who-wants-be-a-director cliche – although he does want to be one. The cliche he’s fighting, it turns out, is the one that suggests that a young actor in possession of a publicist, may come across as a tiny bit bland. Although, with his reluctance to take himself seriously, he’s really not.

Lionsgate recently announced that they won the North American distribution rights to the thriller One for the Money.Directed by Julie Ann Robinson (The Last Song) after one written by Liz Brixius, the movie has Catherine Heigl in the role of women at the age of 30 years, finds himself newly divorced, recently fired, and completely pauper. Stephanie Plum, because it’s unfortunate name, turning in desperation to a cousin of his who deals with all kinds of business more or less legal.

One For the Money will be directed by Julie Ann Robinson from a screenplay written by Karen McCullah Lutz and Kristen Smith, and later rewritten by Liz Brixius. I saw it as a movie for families—the journey of a boy and a horse who were once so close and whose destinies drive them apart. I hope this story will bring people together through this shared experience; its heart can be felt in every country.

Thus, they created a movie that is PG-13 instead of going all out with the blood and guts and making it R. Spielberg had a desire to make it more accessible to families with tweens or teens who are mature enough to handle the more violent scenes, which is a good thing because it can retain the heartwarming message and poignant yet not too harsh reflection on war that the book aptly put forth.

According to the synopsis, the movie is a wartime love story between a Serb guard in a prison camp and his former girlfriend, a Bosnian Muslim detainee and does not contain any rape scenes. Jolie said that she was the victim of “unfair pressure based on wrong information” and eventually had her filming permissions restored.

Given the controversy, the film might have been released under the radar. Instead, the promotional campaign is churning into gear, starting with the release of the trailer. The film, which is shot in both English and Serbo-Croat, will be released in the US on 23 December.

I have to give props to whoever designed the poster. It avoids the “giant floating heads” or “cast lined up” tropes Hollywood loves oh-so-much, and uses a fairly simple design to convey a lot. The nice thing is, it works whether you notice the faces in the blood or not. The second shot shows star Zana Marjanovic, who plays Alja, one of the film’s two leads. The last shot is, of course, Angelina in full director mode.

In the Land of Blood and Honey tells the story of a Serbian soldier named Danijel who falls in love with a Bosnian Muslim woman named Alja under the worst possible circumstances — in the midst of war between their two factions and with her as his prisoner. With a planned December 23rd release date, it’s still arriving in time for Oscar consideration, assuming Jolie proves to have any writing/directing chops. With a story of forbidden love set against a war-torn backdrop, it certainly has the faint whiff of Oscar bait about it.

Set against the backdrop of the Bosnian War that tore the Balkan region apart in the 1990s, “In the Land of Blood and Honey” tells the story of Danijel (Goran Kosti?) and Ajla (Zana Marjanovi?), two people from different sides of a brutal ethnic conflict. Danijel, a soldier fighting for the Serbs, and Ajla, a Bosnian held captive in the camp he oversees, knew each other before the war, and could have found love with each other. But as the armed conflict takes hold of their lives, their relationship grows darker, their motives and connection to one another ambiguous, their allegiances uncertain.

“In the Land of Blood and Honey” portrays the incredible emotional, moral and physical toll that the war exerts both on individuals and people as a whole, and the terrible consequences that stem from the lack of political will to intervene in a society stricken with conflict.

Critical response towards Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close has been generally less positive than for Foer’s first novel; John Updike, writing for The New Yorker, found the second novel to be “thinner, overextended, and sentimentally watery”, stating that “the book’s hyperactive visual surface covers up a certain hollow monotony in its verbal drama”. In a New York Times review Michiko Kakutani said, “While it contains moments of shattering emotion and stunning virtuosity that attest to Mr. Foer’s myriad gifts as a writer, the novel as a whole feels simultaneously contrived and improvisatory, schematic and haphazard.”Kakutani also stated the book was “cloying” and identified the unsympathetic main character as a major issue. Harry Siegel, writing in New York Press, bluntly titled his review of the book “Extremely Cloying & Incredibly False: Why the author of Everything Is Illuminated is a fraud and a hack”, seeing Foer as an opportunist taking advantage of 9/11 “to make things important, to get paid” while also adding “The writers who make it get treated as symbols.

Whitehead gets compared to Ellison, because they’re both black; Lethem writes a book about race invisibility, but since he’s a white boy, no one thinks to mention Ellison. In the same vein, Foer is supposed to be our new Philip Roth, though his fortune-cookie syllogisms and pointless illustrations and typographical tricks don’t at all match up to or much resemble Roth even at his most inane. But Jews will be Jews, apparently.” Anis Shivani said similarly in a Huffington Post article entitled “The 15 Most Overrated Contemporary American Writers”, claiming Foer “Rode the 9/11-novel gravy train with Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, giving us a nine-year-old with the brain of a twenty-eight-year-old Jonathan Safran Foer”.

Despite several mediocre reviews, the novel was viewed positively in the eyes of several critics. The Herald said that it was a “wonderful” book and is filled with “creative and quirky thoughts”. The Spectator said that “Safran Foer is describing a suffering that spreads across continents and generations” and that the “book is a heartbreaker: tragic, funny, intensely moving”. The Financial Times thought the novel was “wise, funny and incredibly sad.”
