On Monday, the 2010 Ryder Cup finished up after rain dampened the event much of this past weekend.The TV schedule for the Ryder Cup began at 4:00 AM EST on the USA Network. The Television station showed the end of the event, where the Europeans defeated the United States in the tournament 14.5 to 13.5. If you were hoping to wake up this morning to catch the end of the tournament, you missed a great ending.
The U.S. made a major comeback in the final day, but the European team fought them off to win the 38th Ryder Cup. This was the first time in Ryder Cup history that the tournament was decided on a Monday. It was scheduled to end on Sunday, but heavy downpours delayed the finish.
The 2012 Ryder Cup will be back in the United States at Medinah Country Club in Illinois, where the U.S. will look to regain the trophy.
