Development of The Avengers began when Marvel Studios received a grant from Merrill Lynch in April 2005. After the success of the film Iron Man in May 2008, Marvel announced that The Avengers would be released in July 2011. With the signing of Scarlett Johansson in March 2009, Nick Fury and the international agency S.H.I.E.L.D. bring together a team of super humans to form The Avengers to help save the Earth from Loki & his various membered army. The Avengers is an upcoming American superhero film produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures1, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name.

the film was pushed back for a 2012 release. Whedon was brought on board in April 2010 and rewrote the screenplay that was originally written by Zak Penn. Production began in April 2011 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, before moving to Cleveland, Ohio in August 2011 and New York City in September 2011. The film was converted to 3D in post-production.

The Avengers will bring together the super hero team of Marvel Comics characters for the first time ever, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Hulk and more, as they are forced to band together to battle the biggest foe they’ve ever faced. After releasing the first trailer for their upcoming The Avengers in October, Marvel has yet to release another, but a German-dubbed trailer released earlier this month revealed new footage from the movie, plus provided fans with an opportunity to see what the characters would sound like if they spoke German.

Now fans can see what it would be like if the characters spoke Russian as well. Russia’sMSN (via The Playlist) has released a new version of the German trailer, now dubbed in Russian and with snippets of new footage, including the moment between Tony Stark, aka Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) where Stark mentions he “has a Hulk (Mark Ruffalo)” and is subsequently thrown out a windowby the Norse god of trickery. Marvel has released new character posters for Joss Whedon’s “The Avengers”. Okay, so they aren’t really new, they’re the individual versions of those group banners we posted not all that long ago. “The Avengers” stars Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Clark Gregg, Cobie Smulders, and Stellan Skarsgard.

The film finds Marvel’s superheroes, with the assistance of super spy agency SHIELD, teaming up to battle a threat that threatens the world. I mean, what other kind of reason would Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, The Hulk, Black Widow, and Hawkeye would have to team up if not to save the world
